    Douglas Hollyhand is a leading developer, contractor, and manager of affordable housing properties throughout the Southeastern United States. Mr. Hollyhand received his Business degree from The University of Alabama in 1969 and has been part of the development and construction industries since 1972, forming the family owned businesses, Doug Hollyhand Realty, Inc., and the Hollyhand Companies, Inc. of which he is Vice President. He has built over 130 individual multifamily properties comprising in excess of 9,000 apartment units and the management company currently manages 95 apartment properties comprising over 5,000 units. Mr. Hollyhand acted as developer on 35 of those properties, and his portfolio of developed, constructed, and managed properties includes no foreclosures. Mr. Hollyhand will assist with all aspects of development, in particular the development of construction budgets, provision of financial guarantees, and interaction with architects.

    Responsible for all business required of the ownership entity, as well as construction and project supervision, Amanda Livingston has been an integral part of Doug Hollyhand Realty, Inc. for over 15 years.  Her scope of work includes supervising Davis-Bacon and subcontractor payrolls, Section 3 compliance, bookkeeping and distributing contracts to owners and subcontractors.  Along with inner-office tasks, she is also a point of contact for our superintendents’ on-site needs and clerical duties.  Amanda has also been a part of the development team, helping secure two HOPE VI projects and numerous Tax Credit/HOME deals.
